We offer high-quality composted and aged horse manure that is perfect for gardens, nursery stock, putting in a new lawn or to help break-up clay soil. We use a three bin system, adding new manure to the first bin. The second bin is kept at a temperature between 122 to 145 degrees Farenheight to kill pathogens and weed seeds. When the active pile reaches 140 degrees we turn the pile to provide more oxygen and reduce temperatures. When the active pile subsides to the ambient temperature it is moved to the third bin for aging.

To obtain compost bring a trailer or dump truck and we will load as much as you need using our tractor. For smaller amounts simply bring a wagon or other container to fill. To arrange for pick-up please call Pam at 978-233-4106 or email info@naturespiritfarm.com

Indoor Use :

• Because there is virtually no odor, our horse compost can be used indoors
• Our compst is good for starting plants, growing an indoor herb garden, or as potting soil for houseplants

• Horse compost is nutritional enough to promot growth, but mild enough for tender seedlings

Outdoor Use :

• Use our compost for window boxes, hanging planters, patio pots or planters along the house
• Mix it with soil in your gardens to add nutrients throughout the season
• Create new lawns by mixing in compost before seeding
• Add it to soil before planting trees or shrubs
